  • Treat your computer with care by using a protective mat where possible
  • Ensure your computer is inspected by a trained Tech Expert
  • Examine the computer with you and give an honest appraisal of the work required and all findings will be documented
  • Make recommendations based on our inspections, knowledge, experience and your usage factors, but always with what’s best for you in mind
  • Provide a quotation including all associated charges before any work commences
  • Inform you immediately of any complications or delays
  • Ensure all work is Quality Checked by a trained Tech Expert
  • Where possible, show you all work that has been carried out
  • Retain all parts removed for your inspection should you wish to do so.

Sometimes when a part is nearing the end of its life, it can be a matter of judgement as to whether that part should be replaced now or left a little longer. We will explain the options as clearly as we can, please feel free to seek a second opinion if you are unsure what to do. If at any point you have any queries concerning anything we say or do, please tell us.

At Digital Doctors we provide hours of training to each Tech Expert. With technical training carried out at our main service centre in Brighton, East Sussex, staff are continually assessed and undergo refresh training year round, to ensure they are providing the best possible service to our customers and are up-to-date with the latest developments in software maintenance and computer repair.

I’ve been the Managing Director of JJAMstar Digital Ltd, which has traded under the name Digital Doctors since 2005. Digital Doctors is a provider of business system solutions, pro-active maintenance and cloud services to professionals, micro and small businesses.  

I’m passionate about connecting small business owners to the right technology, enabling them to focus more time on their core business activities through efficient use of digital technology. With nearly 20 years’ experience I have developed an in-depth understanding of the pressures and strains caused by modern digital technology and the best practice techniques to help resolve those issues.

Our History

2005

The company Digital Doctors was started by John Webster back in 2005 when Windows XP was around! Located in East London we quickly grew, focusing on providing a pro-active approach to supporting residential customers who were becoming increasingly dependent on computers for their everyday lives.

2006

Like so many small businesses we started out at home but soon John was looking to take on staff, to support the increasing number of customers. The meant we needed to find office space and eventually moved into Channelsea House, just off the Greenway in between Stratford and Beckton

2010

Our stay at Channelsea House lasted for four years, before needing to move as the block was being renovated. So onwards we moved to Shoreditch

At Digital Doctors we take our responsibility to the environment seriously and are continually looking to introduce practices, methods and new technology to drive down our impact. To acheive this ambition, there are a number of areas we've identified where environmental consideration has an impact:

Travel 
To save travel and therefore reduce CO2 emmissions we use an array of screen sharing solutions that allow our team to diagnose and often fix problems with computer and IT equippment. 

Service Centre
Two of our most common services is replacing dead batteries and broken screens. Both of these items particularly batteries contain pretty harmful materials so we make ever effort to ensure these a not just sent to landfill but instead recycled responsibly.

We have connections within the industry which allow us to source parts for great prices, from reliable dealers who can often provide the needed parts much faster than other regular equipment stores online.
